Vapi or Retell: Which One Feels More Natural on Calls?
For those building with voice AI, I’ve been comparing Vapi and Retell, and one thing stands out: voice quality and responsiveness can feel quite different depending on the setup.
From what I’ve tested:• Retell feels more consistent in call handling• Vapi can be solid, but depends more on configuration
But honestly, a lot of it comes down to the voice provider, latency, and how the system is structured behind the scenes.
At the end of the day, the platform is just one part of the stack.
