introduce myself !!
Hey everyone, 👋
My name is Stef Verheyen, I’m 34 years old and I’m from Belgium.
I’m what you could probably call a multi-creator, aspiring entrepreneur and AI-powered builder.
My journey is a bit different from the typical entrepreneur story.
For almost eight years, I’ve been working in a production environment. Before that I spent years trying to figure out what direction I wanted to take with my life. I’ve had different interests, different projects and quite a few attempts at building something online.
And honestly, I’ve learned a lot from the things that didn’t work.
I reached a point where I realized that I don’t want to spend the rest of my life simply trading my time for a relatively small monthly income.
I want to build something of my own.
Not because I expect some overnight “get rich with AI” result, but because I want to create financial independence, freedom and resilience.
What am I building?
Right now my main focus is e-commerce.
I’m currently rebuilding a one-product Shopify store and experimenting with using AI agents to accelerate almost every part of the process: research, product selection, website building, copywriting, design, marketing preparation, workflows and eventually optimization.
I’m deliberately trying to build the business differently this time.
In the past, I spent a lot of money on courses, coaching and different online opportunities.
I learned a lot, but I also learned a painful lesson:
More information doesn't automatically create more results.
At some point you have to stop preparing and actually build.
That’s where I am now.
I’ve moved from being primarily a student to becoming a maker.
AI is becoming a major part of that transition.
I’m not interested in AI simply because it’s the current trend.
What fascinates me is the idea of having a small “digital team” working alongside me.
I’ve already been experimenting with multiple AI agents that can take over parts of my workflows.
My goal isn't to have AI replace my creativity or decision-making.
I want AI to handle the repetitive, time-consuming and operational parts so I can spend more time on the things where being human actually matters:
ideas, decisions, creativity, storytelling, strategy and building.
That is probably the biggest reason I’m interested in this community.
I want to learn how other people are going from:
“I use ChatGPT”
to
“I have AI integrated into the way I actually operate.”
But e-commerce isn't my only project.
I'm also building myself as a multi-creator.
I have a YouTube channel under the name Stef Verheyen | Multi-Creator & Freelancer, where I experiment with different creative disciplines and document projects, challenges and lessons.
I’m interested in filmmaking, video editing, music production, web design, programming, drawing, cycling, challenges, gaming and entrepreneurship.
Rather than choosing one identity and staying inside one box, I want to explore how multiple skills can eventually reinforce each other.
For example:
🎥 Filmmaking → better storytelling
🎨 Design → better branding
💻 Programming → better products
🤖 AI → more leverage
📈 Business → monetization
🎬 YouTube → distribution
🧠 Personal development → better decision-making
And eventually, I want these things to stop being separate hobbies and become parts of one larger ecosystem.
My bigger goal
My ultimate goal isn't simply to make “a lot of money”.
Money is important because it gives you options.
What I really want is control over my time and my direction.
I want to be able to wake up and decide what I'm building, who I'm helping, what I'm learning and what challenges I'm taking on — rather than having the majority of my life dictated by a job schedule.
I also want to prove something to myself:
That someone who didn't start with a huge network, a massive audience, a technical background or a big business can still build something meaningful by combining persistence, creativity, technology and leverage.
And I think AI changes the game massively for someone like me.
A few years ago, being a solo creator/entrepreneur meant that there were only so many things one person could realistically do.
Today, one person can potentially operate with an entire layer of AI assistants, agents and automation behind them.
That's the opportunity I want to understand.
Why I'm here
I'm here to learn, experiment, build and share what actually works.
I'm especially interested in:
  • AI agents and autonomous workflows
  • AI for e-commerce
  • AI for content creation
  • AI-powered research
  • Automation for solopreneurs
  • Building businesses with a very small team
  • Using AI to reduce the amount of repetitive work
  • Turning ideas into actual products
  • Finding ways to create leverage instead of simply working more hours
And I don't want to just consume information.
I've done enough of that already. 😅
My goal now is:
Learn → Build → Test → Measure → Improve → Repeat.
If something works, I want to understand why.
If it fails, I want to learn from it.
And if I discover something useful, I'll happily share it with the community.
So that's me.
34, Belgian, creator, aspiring entrepreneur, lifelong experimenter — currently building an e-commerce business and figuring out how far one person can go when AI becomes part of the team.
Looking forward to meeting everyone here and seeing what you're all building. 🚀
Let's build.
