From Hours to Automatic: How I Built an AI Workflow System for a Client Using Claude Code & OpenClaw

A few weeks ago, a client named Guiseppe reached out with a problem.

His team was spending hours every week handling repetitive tasks across different platforms. Things were getting done, but the process wasn't efficient, and too much time was being lost on work that could be automated.

Instead of building another traditional SaaS dashboard, I decided to take a different route.

I used Claude Code alongside OpenClaw to create an AI-powered workflow system that could understand tasks, execute actions, and manage processes with minimal human intervention.

Claude Code helped accelerate development, debugging, and iteration. OpenClaw handled the connections between tools, automated actions, and removed the need for constant manual input.

The outcome was immediate.

Tasks that previously took Guiseppe's team several hours every week now run automatically in the background.

Less copy-pasting.

Less switching between tools.

Fewer errors.

More time focused on work that actually grows the business.

One message Guiseppe sent after launch stuck with me:

"This is the first automation project we've implemented that people actually enjoy using."

For me, that's what matters most.

Anyone can build software. The real challenge is building something people adopt because it genuinely makes their work easier.

What I enjoy most about combining Claude Code with OpenClaw is how quickly ideas become working solutions. Instead of spending weeks moving from concept to implementation, you can test, refine, and deploy much faster.

AI isn't replacing good processes.

It's helping us build better ones.
