Hey everyone, I’m Jael.
I’ve spent over 10 years working in healthcare operations, startups, and corporate environments, building workflows, SOPs, and internal systems. I’ve also helped scale call centers from the ground up, so I’m used to coming into messy situations and creating structure.
I was recently laid off, and while I know I need to find a job, I’m using this time to learn a new skill and move in a different direction. What pushed me into this is seeing the same issue over and over. Companies have knowledge scattered across tools, chats, and documents, or their documentation is outdated and no longer useful. Teams end up repeating the same mistakes and wasting time.
Right now I’m learning AI tools with the goal of helping companies automate workflows, build better SOP systems, and organize their operations in a way that actually works.
I also run a travel brand where I create itineraries, and that’s shown me a different problem I want to solve. When I planned my own solo trip, I spent hours researching safety, logistics, where to stay, and how to move around. Everything ended up all over the place. Long term, I want to build an app that helps solo travelers plan their trips in a more organized way.
I know I need to focus on one lane right now, and I’m trying to figure out where to start. I’ve been learning through YouTube and applying what I can, but I do better when I have a clear and structured roadmap.
There’s a lot of experience in this group, so I’m here to learn, be challenged, and start building.
Looking forward to learning from you all.
