Experimenting with voice agents for client work — curious what’s actually working
I’ve been spending the last month exploring voice agents , not from a “launch a startup” perspective, but more from “can this genuinely drive client results?”
Tried a mix of approaches: some DIY with telephony + LLMs, plus a couple of plug-and-play platforms like Feather to see how much effort differs. Some patterns stood out:
-> Clients engage way more over calls than emails/texts
-> Follow-ups actually happen
-> Lead qualification speeds up considerably
That said, results vary a lot depending on the setup and platform.
I’m curious: is anyone actively using voice agents in their workflow or client delivery? What’s working well, and what’s falling short?
