If building a playbook feels confusing, you’re likely overcomplicating it. I’ve put together two tools designed to handle the heavy lifting, both the structure and the content, so you don't have to start from scratch.
The first tool is straightforward: it asks you direct questions to establish exactly what you want the playbook to achieve. The second is a bit more robust, using a two-phase approach. It starts with an interview to capture your specific goals, generates a detailed brief, and then builds the actual playbook based on those answers.
Keep in mind that quality is a direct result of the context you provide. If you give it specific details, like your brand tone or a sample of your writing, the output is going to be significantly better. The goal here is to stop wondering how to build a playbook and start focusing on the results.
To recap, one tool is a simple interview-to-build setup. The other is a pipeline that interviews you, creates a brief, and then passes that brief into a second phase where the playbook is actually constructed.
I’m also in the middle of building out a full suite of playbooks. If you’re curious about what that looks like, take a look at the third image.
It’s a screenshot of a zip folder where everything is organized into clean subfolders.
I can’t share much more here without breaking the rules, but you know the drill. Check out my profile, and let's talk.
