Title: Building a “Backup Intelligence” — Multi-AI System + Docket Layer (Live Case Study)
I’m working on something practical and I’d like honest feedback from people actually building in this space.
Current stack (real, not theoretical):
- ChatGPT → reasoning / thinking partner
- Google Gemini + Workspace → docs, email, cloud execution
- “Jarvis” (Solstice AI) → local execution / agents
- Exploring an orchestrator layer (“Iris”) for coordination
The goal
Create a Backup Intelligence that helps a human operate day-to-day with:
- continuity across contexts
- reduced cognitive load
- real task execution (not just chat)
The problems I’m trying to solve
- Memory drift across chats/toolsEverything works… until context breaks.
- No true “docket system”I want a simple way to:
- tag work (e.g., Guardian AI, WAP, DJ App)
- use a keyword → instantly reload state across tools
- No always-on captureVoice-first, low-friction input (ideas mid-flow) still isn’t there.
Proposed approach (open to critique)
- Treat each AI/tool as a role, not a platform
- Add a lightweight Docket Layer (source of truth):
- Use keyword triggers to rehydrate context:
- Route execution:
What I’m asking this group
- How far out is this, realistically?
- Best current patterns? (memory, orchestration, voice pipelines)
- Where does this break first? (security, latency, UX, context limits)
- How would you architect it differently?
Bigger question (product + trust)
If this works, it’s not about one company winning. It’s about composing strengths into something that actually helps people. - How do you bring this to market without it feeling extractive?
- How do you show real, empirical value so people trust it?
Real talk — this is a live case study
This isn’t theory for me.
I’m rebuilding parts of my life while building this.
Today, for example:
- I’m close to getting back into DJing (which is therapy for me)
- I have the gear
- I have the setup
- And I’m still hesitating… because if it fails again, it can take the wind out of the whole day
That’s the reality.
So while I’m talking about:
- AI systems
- memory layers
- orchestration
I’m also:
- managing cognitive load
- managing fear of failure
- trying to regain momentum in real life
Why I’m sharing that
Because if this “Backup Intelligence” idea works, it’s not just about productivity.
It’s about:
helping people stay in motion when life gets heavy
And for anyone reading this who’s dealing with their own version of that:
You’re not alone. The work is hard. Some days you stall.
But:
you can change your trajectoryand it is worth it
I’m not attached to being right.I want to pressure-test this with people who are actually building.
Appreciate any direct, technical feedback.
