The Real Prompt
---
A guy spent 4 hours learning “advanced prompting”.
Saved 37 templates.
Watched YouTube tutorials.
Copied frameworks from people who talk about AI like it’s a religion.
Then he opened ChatGPT and typed:
“What are good ways to make money online?”
Generic answer.
Generic frustration.
Generic conclusion:
“AI isn’t that useful.”
But the problem wasn’t the AI.
The problem was he never explained his real life.
He never said:
“I work full time.”
“I’m exhausted after 7pm.”
“I only have £50 spare.”
“I’m good with people but terrible at sales.”
“I need something that can eventually replace my income.”
So the AI guessed.
Because vague questions force vague assumptions.
Most people think prompting is about sounding smart.
It isn’t.
It’s about finally admitting your actual situation out loud.
That’s the part people avoid.
Not because it’s hard.
Because it’s uncomfortable.
The moment you describe your reality clearly, you also have to confront it clearly.
And suddenly the AI isn’t exposing a prompting problem.
It’s exposing a thinking problem.

Something to Ponder On 🤔
How many times have you called the answer “bad” when the real issue was that you never fully described the situation?
Remember:
A vague prompt is usually a vague understanding wearing confident language.
