AI Is an Advantage. But What Are We Using It For?
AI is an incredibly powerful tool.
But like a hammer, its value depends on how we use it.
A hammer can hang a picture.
It can help build a house.
It can also be used to hurt someone.
The tool is not the mission. The outcome is.
I have already seen the advantage of AI in my own life.
It can help us plan vacations faster, create meal plans, design exercise routines, organize our days, clarify our goals, and make better decisions.
Those are all valuable uses.
But once I began getting my own life more in order, a bigger question emerged:
What problem do I want to help solve next?
Here is mine:
What would it take to make a two-hour, Alpha-style learning environment available to every child?
A learning model where students can master academics more efficiently, spend less of their day sitting through traditional instruction, and have more time to develop creativity, confidence, life skills, curiosity, and real-world problem-solving abilities.
AI gives us the ability to rethink systems that were designed for a different era.
So yes, AI is absolutely an advantage.
But are we using this extraordinary tool to its greatest advantage?
Planning our lives better is a wonderful beginning.
Now, what could we rebuild with it?
This is the next problem I want to help solve.
