In this AI Innovator Spotlight, independent travel consultant Marie Rowe explains how she built an industry-first AI agent to tackle a growing problem: inaccurate AI-generated travel briefs.

Clients increasingly use generative AI to prepare before speaking to professionals. In travel, this can create serious operational and financial risks if briefs are incomplete or unrealistic.

Marie responded by building Virtual Marie, a custom GPT that guides clients step by step in creating structured, accurate travel briefs. The AI improves the starting point, while Marie continues to apply her expertise, supplier knowledge, and risk management oversight.

This session demonstrates how professionals can integrate AI responsibly, design practical safeguards, and improve client outcomes.
