The difference between venting and being heard.
There is a difference between venting and being heard and most of us have only ever experienced the first one.
Venting: you talk until the feeling runs out. The other person waits for their turn. You leave lighter for maybe an hour then the weight comes back.
Being heard: you talk until you understand yourself. The other person holds the space without an agenda. Something shifts. You leave different.
Most women have someone to talk to.
Very few have someone who truly listens.
I want to offer you something simple.
Post something in this community that you have not been able to say anywhere else.
It does not have to be big. It does not have to make sense. It does not have to be polished.
Just honest.
This space will hold it
