"...Samuel L. Jackson dressed up as Uncle Sam in front of a bigoted hateful president, whilst entertaining, was very intentional. The ‘Uncle Sam’ figure was there to remind Black people on how we once had to behave in front of our white massa’s. Unc Sam is a figure that warns us not to be “too loud”, “too visible” or “too ghetto” so we can appease white audiences. Unc Sam is a caution to make sure Black folks ‘know their place’ and Kendrick said “EFF THAT SUCKA”.

Y’all know King Kendrick loathes Donald and all he represents so deliberately having his dancers forming a disconnected American flag was poetic, because you only have to look at the state of the USA to understand.

Kendrick literally protested all the current political shenanigans by creatively taunting the administration during America’s biggest sporting event."
