Welcome to The Accomplice Accelerator Community!
Happy New Year to all! If you are seeing this post, thank you for accepting our challenge to commit to becoming a better accomplice in 2025.
This is an Hola Magnolia Identityworks community sponsored by our activities at The Reparations Race, a division of Hola Magnolia LLC. This group only has one main pre-requisite:
Prior attendance or confirmed registration to any past or upcoming Accomplice Accelerator Webinar or Do-the-Work Weekend, including those that have been gifted a community seat.
For those new to our community space, here's a little bit about The Accomplice Accelerator by:
The Accomplice Accelerator was born out of a desire to not only keep the change-work conversations going between our semi-annual Reparations Race campaigns, but also to serve as a way to bring low-cost and peer-sponsored DEI, antiracism and social impact learning opportunities to our community. Despite being an experiment that began as a distant dream of creating a webinar learning series for aspiring changemakers, AA has grown into a powerful and transformative conversation space that has welcomed over 150 learners and 12 invited guest speakers since August 2024.
If you are just joining us here in the group, stay tuned as I begin to outfit the classroom section with clips and prompts for discussion , as well as our full Accomplice Accelerator On-Demand Webinar Library as my gift to you for joining and helping build our new community.
In the meantime, please save the date for our first 3-part Accomplice Accelerator Webinar Series of 2025 titled Dear White Men: Change is a Choice. What Will Yours Be? This one comes highly anticipated following our Dear White Women 3-part series in November. Here are the details:
Dates:
January 18-19-20 (MLK Weekend in the US)
Time (80 minutes per session):
1pm PST (San Fransisco) | 3pm CST (Chicago) | 9pm BST (London) | 10pm CEST (Barcelona) | 8am AEST (Brisbane)
Cost:
$65 for non-members of the AA Community
$45 for members of the AA community
