The Secret is Out: Let's Make Magnolia House a Reality!
Welcome to my most ambitious Reparations Race raise to date: The Making of Magnolia House.
And yes. That is a Magnolia tree... Right at the entrance. 🌺
This campaign supports the acquisition of a working retreat and community events property in Barcelona, Spain under ownership of a Catalan-American family. It would be the first Black-owned project of its kind in the country. We are creating a home-away-from-home for impact leaders and creatives on a journey to find, discover and execute projects that change the world—and we want you be part of making it a reality just in time for the 4th Edition of the Reparations Race this coming Juneteenth (6/19) 2025!
Truth be told, I almost cancelled this presentation five separate times this morning. Then, I got a little morale boost and a wave of activation energy—and accidentally cancelled the event on Zoom.
But by then, I knew I was supposed to follow through. So I did. And here we are.
If you missed today's presentation, there's good news and bad news. The bad news is that I'm letting you all in on this with this quick edit of some footage I took on a visit to the house last week with my darling realtor-friend-partner-in-crime-and-mirror-sign-mischief, who you all will meet very soon.
