Daily Recode - Protect Your Peace
Protecting your peace is part of protecting your abundance. Peace can be easy to overlook because it doesn’t always look like something you can count or hold. But peace affects how you think. How you make decisions.
How you respond to people. How you care for yourself. And how much energy you have left for the things that actually matter. Not everything deserves access to that.
Protecting your peace doesn’t mean avoiding every uncomfortable conversation or surrounding yourself only with people who agree with you. Sometimes protecting your peace means addressing something directly.
Sometimes it means stepping away. Sometimes it means deciding that a situation no longer deserves as much of your attention as you’ve been giving it. The boundary is knowing the difference.
Reflection
What has been receiving more of my energy, attention, or emotional space than it deserves?
What would protecting my peace look like there?
Today’s Practice
Notice one thing that repeatedly pulls you away from your peace.
Before automatically engaging with it today, pause and ask:
“Does this require my attention, or has it simply gotten used to having access to it?”
Then respond accordingly. You may need to address it. Delay your response. Say no. Step away. Or simply stop giving it so much room in your mind.
Affirmation
My peace is worthy of protection. I choose carefully what receives my energy and attention. I can address what matters without giving everything unlimited access to me. Protecting my peace helps me protect the life I am building.
Community Reflection
What’s one thing you’ve learned deserves less access to your peace?
Share only what feels comfortable.
