Your Challenge: The Connection Practice
For the next 7 days, focus on strengthening the bonds that matter most — not through grand gestures, but through presence.
Each day, do one of the following (or rotate them):
1️⃣ Check-In Call — Call or voice message one family member or close friend just to listen. No agenda, no advice. Just presence.
2️⃣ Gratitude Note — Write or text one message that says:
“I just want to thank you for ___ — it really means a lot to me.”
3️⃣ Moment Together — Share a meal, short walk, or video call where you’re fully present — no multitasking, no phone scrolling.
4️⃣ Forgiveness Step — Reflect on one relationship you’ve held tension with. You don’t need to reach out yet. Just write one sentence releasing the emotional weight.
