ATX IRL #3 πŸ‘ŠπŸ½πŸ“„βœ‚οΈ
Every Texas IRL reminds me why online communities work best when they are built on real connection first. Seeing people shake hands, sit down, laugh, ask questions, and actually listen to each other changes the energy completely.
What stood out to me most was not tactics or numbers (although and gave some great sauce). It was how open people were about where they got stuck and where they want to go. Yesterday was filled with real conversations with people who are building.
The main takeaways that stuck with me were:
  • Community compounds faster when people feel safe to speak
  • Engagement is less about clever prompts and more about presence
  • Trust is built faster in rooms like this than anywhere online
But the real value was watching new and old relationships form in real time. People connecting dots for each other, helping each other just for fun. That is the part you cannot fake online.
If you have been on the fence about showing up in person, this is your sign. You do not need to have it all figured out. You just need to be willing to show up.
Curious where everyone here is right now: Are you building, stuck, or just starting to believe this could actually work?
