Jenelle asked me to share a little about my journey and what I'm building — and honestly I'm honoured because this community is where it all started for me. Jenelle was one of the very first people who helped me find my feet when I stumbled into this online world completely lost. 🤍

So here's my honest story. 👇

I'm Suzie. 52 year old Australian tradeswoman. I run a building and renovation business with my husband by day. Mum of three. Nanna to twin boys.

About 12 months ago my husband's health took a serious turn. Out of nowhere. And suddenly everything we had built our whole lives — built on two physical bodies showing up every single day — felt incredibly fragile.

The thought of losing everything and what would become of us if we couldn't work. That fear is real. And honestly it still sits with me every single day and it's bloody scary.😔

So I started building something online. Not because I had it all figured out. Not because I had spare time — because between long days on the tools and hospital visits there is no spare time. But because I was scared. And scared people find a way. 💪

I am actually coming up to my 6 month mark in this world of learning and building. I know others can build this a lot faster than me. But when you're coming home from 8 to 10 hour days on the tools — I am genuinely proud of how far I have come. Because I'm not just building. I'm learning it all at the same time. Every single day. From scratch. 💪

I built a free Skool community called Work Boots to WiFi with Suzie — for people over 40 reinventing themselves online with no tech skills, no experience and no idea where to start. Why, because I want other's in my position to have some where to start.

And I want to be honest — I haven't made a lot of money yet, as I've been busy building the founations. This is real life not a highlight reel.

But what I HAVE built is trust. Real trust. With real people.

I have been incredibly lucky to have some amazing Skool owners walk alongside me on this journey — Raven Steele, Manda Jackson, Tina Alexander and Rosee Creative have supported, guided and encouraged me more than they probably know. 🤍

And because of the trust I've built inside my community — I know the sales will come. Because people buy from people they trust. And I've spent months showing up honestly every single day for my people.
