Now that ChatGPT has seriously upgraded its image and video generation…What are YOU using more lately?
👉 Canva or
👉 ChatGPT’s new visual/video tools?
Because honestly… they’re starting to overlap in some interesting ways.
Here’s what I’ve noticed so far:
What Canva still does REALLY well:
- Easy drag-and-drop editing
- Brand kits and consistent colours/fonts
- Templates for Pinterest, Reels, carousels, presentations, PDFs etc.
- Simple resizing for every platform
- Timeline editing for videos
- Music, transitions, animations, captions
- Team collaboration
- Scheduling and publishing content
- Great for people who want control over the final design
What ChatGPT is now surprisingly good at:
- Generating original images from ideas
- Creating scenes and concepts fast
- Writing scripts, hooks, captions and visuals together
- Turning rough ideas into content in minutes
- AI-generated videos and B-roll concepts
- Brainstorming content angles instantly
- Helping beginners who freeze staring at a blank Canva page
- Creating content from simple prompts instead of designing everything manually
Here’s the interesting part:
Canva feels more like a design studio. ChatGPT feels more like a creative assistant.
One helps you build. The other helps you think, create and generate faster.
But I think most people will probably end up using BOTH together.
So I’d love to know:
👇 If you could only keep ONE for your business right now… which would it be and why?
And be honest…Has ChatGPT started replacing parts of Canva for you yet?
