Unstuck Intuition activity
Common reasons people feel stuck: Overthinking card meanings Trying to memorize instead of intuit Fear of being “wrong” Intuition is like a muscle, it gets better the more you use it. Everyone has to start from somewhere, but as you continue to focus on using your intuition more you'll put that guide book down and get more involved and more out of your readings. An activity you can do to work on your intuition either while doing readings, or even for practice is to use your intuition first and figure out what you can see, feel, and what story you can tell when you look at a card. Only after you've worked on this with your intuition exclusively can you go to the guidebook for extra support. The idea here is to grow and use that intuition muscle so that you don't feel so stressed out in readings and second guess yourself. It's never a bad thing to use a guidebook that's what they're there for, but the girl should always be to use your intuition first. This challenge works in three steps. 1. Seeing- when you first pull a card you'll want to look at the card. Figure out what is popping out to you, what can you see?! 2. Feeling- next you want to look at what the vibe of this card is, what is the overall feeling that you're getting when you're looking at this card? Does the card feel heavy? Does the card feel happy etc? 3. Story- Once you've gone through the first two then you can start to look at the card and see if you can find if there's a story being told? Who are the characters? What is happening on the card? What direction are the people facing? If they're facing the left they're looking to the past, facing forward looking to the present, facing the right looking to the future. By using your intuition to look at a card and go through what you're seeing and feeling and then telling the story you'll start to get better at deciphering the meanings before you ever have to look at the guide book. I hope this helps.
