Getting out there !
I have been loving Tarot for over 10 years now. For all this time, I kept this practice to myself. I am working as a resident in psychiatry and psychotherapy, and was held back by the belief that doctors and psychotherapist should not publicly engage in things considered magic. Recently, I overcame this belief and it feels so great to finally be able to share my way of seeing Tarot with other people. ✨💜 I was brave enough to get out there on social media, tell my friends about it, join groups and Communities and connect with people there. I’ve even told coworkers in the hospital that I am a Tarot enthusiast. All reactions have been very positive so far, and I feel so complete to be able to share this passion with like minded people. 🌻
Hi I’m Kat - Psychiatrist by day & Tarot Reader by night
Hi I’m Kat, a resident training to become a Psychiatrist and DBT-certified Psychotherapist, I also happen to be a Tarot and Oracle Card Enthusiast. I was introduced to tarot by my mother as a child and am working with this wonderful tool for several years now. 2020 – I started a community for students focusing on mental wellbeing and stress management. 2021 – I graduated from medical school and got certified as a mental trainer.I loved coaching and wanted to discover more modalities. I started my own online business and got certified in EFT tapping, life coaching, NLP-derived modalities, hypnosis, and identity coaching. 2023 – I returned to the medical field. Since then, I have been working as a doctor in the field of psychiatry and psychotherapy.Currently, I am in residency, specializing in behavioral therapy. 2025 – In the context of my clinical work, I started training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Now I am doing Coaching &Tarot, because I enjoy it next to my full time job in the Klinik :) I love reflecting on the interactions between Tarot and psychological models.
