who am I
Hey, I'm Amir – an aquarist with years of turning glass boxes into thriving underwater worlds: from crystal-clear planted tanks bursting with green, to peaceful community setups where every fish gets along, to troubleshooting the nightmare algae blooms and mystery deaths that every hobbyist faces at some point.
Tank & Tail started because I got tired of seeing new keepers give up too soon. The internet is full of conflicting advice, flashy sponsored gear, and "perfect" tanks that hide the real learning curve. I wanted one honest place where beginners (and even seasoned folks) could get straight answers, avoid the most common pitfalls, and actually enjoy the hobby without constant stress or dead fish.
