Why I Love Podcasts
These apply for hosting or being a guest. Some apply to both.
◾ Meet some amazing people (perhaps like-minded, but it's also good to talk to people with different viewpoints). Build relationships. Learn the lessons life taught them. You can get some great insights and share them with others. Win, win. Their audience may also then check you out.
◾ More depth. In this age of instant gratification it is refreshing to have longer conversations. Less width, more depth
◾ An opportunity to put yourself out there without selling anything. People get to know you more personally (mostly applies as a guest).
◾ Opportunity to chop pieces out and create short form content. Use that to drive more traffic to your brand/ podcast/ business.
You can make content out of learning from and talking to other interesting people. Sounds good to me.
