Intro (oh and uh I like anime)

Guess I'll be a little vulnerable here and say that I uh...like anime. I'm not sure if this will make things weird for you guys since not everyone(in a general way, like when someone completely new and has never heard of it) has a good image in my hobby. As I stated in my profile I would like to start making content that touches people's hearts, but I also know that committing something like this won't be easy because to make something noticeable is to also stand out a bit. I do have skills in communication as I took part in competitions such as World Scholars Cup and MIDP, I'm not terrible in maths and I have a path towards science. But I always wanted to make creative content with deep stories in them, but coming from an asian family there are certain ideals instilled into me that always gave me doubt in pursueing this type of career. At times I would break down because I kept contemplating my future whether it be getting a sciency job or just being a poor artist. I really wanted to do it, but I also don't have the necessary disciplines and I am afraid I will hate what I create and why I had chosen this path in the first place, because college debt is no joke so i just froze. Because I couldn't do much that I can think off to earn a living from it. I really thought of taking up graphic design or something else but that logic side of me could almost never find a path for the creative childish me.

But when I saw your video of you chasing what you thought was right, how it took you 3 years and from trial and error I really wanted to make my dream at least partly true. So I joined this group, and it is still hard for me to overcome the values I was raised with, to just suck up and give it a shot. But since I took the initiative to join, I might as well try to keep my chin up.

Side note- my current level of skill in anatomy is just copy drawing, I can make a few original works but that will require a metric ton of references to make the quality good.
