Empty your mind
I watched this video from dan koe which I found insightful I taught i just share here
He talked about emptying your mind
So he said there is a default mode network in the brain ( DMN ) this is the part of the brain that activates as soon as people stop concentrating on external tasks and shift from outward focus to inward focus
Emptying your mind means letting the default mode network take over and this happens when you’re meditating at the gym or journaling
when you let the DMN takeover that’s when you have insights or a discovery or you remember something and your subconscious mind brings a solution to your conscious mind
So i found this really interesting because for the past 28 days I’ve been journaling everyday and I experienced what dan koe was saying on multiple occasions
Because anytime I find myself worrying about a problem I need solutions to,I don’t quit get the solution right away
But during journaling i just find myself figuring out a solutions to the roadblock I’m encountering
it’s kind of like my brain just came up with the solution to the problem
