Your future self

I was pondering this morning. 🧐

I find "creating content for yourself" a great advice to find your authentic voice and to build a like-minded audience. But it raises a question for me. If I create content for myself now, there is a chance I will stay in my comfort zone.

So how can we take this one step further? Who is the person outside of our comfort zone?

I think my answer is: create content for your future self. For the person who is more developed, more wise than you at this moment. But still it's you - the person who you would like to become.

So before hitting the publish button, ask yourself: will my future self be proud of this content?

(And of course I don't mean to postpone publishing forever! Just one more round of review for your future self.)
