The OLYMPVS Experiment - released on DistroKid
I uploaded my first album to DistroKid: America CCL: Celebrating Our Nation's 250th. The title is a play on America 250, the celebration for the United States' 250th birthday on July 4. Since my band is steeped in Greek and Roman mythos, I figured a Roman numeral name for the album and the birthday would be appropriate.
12 songs, lyrics, album cover, all uploaded. It's set to release 24_JUN_2026 (at midnight tonight). So excited! It feels like Christmas.
It's all SUNO AI-generated music, with some original lyrics and some public domain songs adapted for the band. The band's style is primarily rock, with some country and blues mixed in. Truly a unique sound.
You can add this Spotify pre-save page and get the announcement when it releases.
It should be showing up on Spotify first, then YouTube Music, Apple Music, and a number of other platforms. I would greatly appreciate a follow on Spotify to get my channel started.
I've included a couple of tracks from the album.
"Miller Boy's Home at Last" is band member Sarah singing in a sultry, smoky blues hit about a young man returning to home in Ohio.
"Star Spangled Banner" is our country's national anthem recorded "live" at a fictional waterfront venue "Pierhead Island" in Cleveland Ohio. The album has 4 "Live" tracks from that fictional concert. They were a lot of fun to mix and enhance in Audacity.
