A man’s house begins to flood. He climbs to the roof. He calls out:
“Ya Allah… save me.”
Two boats arrive. “Get in — we’re here to rescue you.” He answers: “No. Allah will save me.”
A helicopter lowers a rope. “Take it — we’re here to help. ”His response: “Allah will save me.”
He dies.
He meets Allah and says: “You didn’t save me.”
Allah replies: “I sent the boat. I sent the helicopter.”
Hold that in your chest. Don’t rush past it. Sit with it.
Because so many of you are doing the same thing.
You are begging Allah:
“Show me the way.”
“Open a path for me.”
“Let me provide for my family.”
“Let me serve. Let me rise.”
“Let it be halal. Let it be with barakah.”
And Allah does.
He sends a message that hits too close.
He sends a mentor whose words won’t leave you.
He sends an opportunity that scares you.
He sends the exact pathway you asked for.
And what do you do?
You scroll. You “like.”
You watch quietly.
You type the DM word.
You joined SKOOL
You booked a call…
…and then you make your fear the decision-maker:
“Let me think.”
“Let me ask permission.”
“Maybe later.”
“I’m waiting for a sign.”
Beloved…
How many more signs do you need before you stop insulting your own dua?
This is the boat. This is the helicopter. This is the rope you’ve been praying for.
Do not drown on the roof of your own hesitation.
If you want a different life, you must stop behaving like the woman who barely survived the last one.
