Pasta & Meatballs-GF & Vegan options.
Hello wonderful members, A satiating dinner helps us in so many ways. It can prevent late night snacking, enhance restorative sleep, and help to produce hormones and neurotransmitters through the night. Last night I got an oat date bar at 7pm and I couldn't even eat it because I was still full of this hearty, 6pm dinner. Let me know your experience with dinner and if I can support you. If you eat vegan, try satiating mushrooms or hearty veggies in place of the meatballs. Love, Karen P.S.-I create meal plans should you desire your very own, custom meal plan with recipes that suit your goals and your lifestyle. They include beautiful recipes and the grocery list. Recipe of the week-Vegetarian Street Tacos
Hello wonderful members, Simplicity and assembling are what recipes are all about here. How do you feel about super simple recipes? I'd love to hear if you are into cooking or if you are a light eater like me. May you enjoy this yummy take on street tacos; they are hard to not overeat. I use corn tortillas that are organic, non-GMO corn with only added sea salt and lime (no added oils) in the ingredients. Let me know if you make them and how you liked them. Karen

Potatoes or Ice Cream? Potatoes.
Hi wonderful members, yesterday I got in my car three times to go get sugar why? Because it was sunny, I felt happy (and alone), I hadn't eaten in 5 hours, and "It's Friday night!" But I turned around, ate this dinner and then had some Reishi hot chocolate. If you have ever felt like you might not survive the night without sugar or being alone with yourself, you are not alone my friend. Even if you do go get the sugar, the noticing and naming of the feelings, while you drive there, is tremendous progress. If you have ever felt torn between a meal or sugar, sometimes eating more food can be the answer. If we overeat a carb like potatoes, that is still better than sugar because at least it is nourishment and the body can utilize it better than empty calories. The question is-is the food that we are overeating healthy? Please share an experience of yours, I'd love to hear. With love, Karen Steamed red potatoes and broccoli. Tossed in coconut oil with nutritional yeast and cheddar (from pastured cows). I ate 2 plates full.

Grocery Item of the Week-There's more to Nutritional Yeast
Nutritional Yeast is grown from fermented molasses; who knew? Not only does it lend a yummy, cheesy flavor, it's also high in a variety of B vitamins that curb sugar cravings and balance energy. It contains fiber, prebiotics, and supports the immune system. Picking up my new tub today! Let me know how you like to use Nutritional Yeast in the comment section. Here's to a healthy Fall. With love, Karen 1. season greens, broccoli, or baked kale chips 2. top off cooked veggies or add to mashed potatoes 3. coat chicken or baked fish 4. add to nuts, seeds, or soups to deepen flavor
