Welcome
I've spent years teaching this work — mindfulness, nervous system regulation, meditation, the whole toolkit. I've written about it, taught it, built businesses around it.
And somewhere along the way I noticed I was using all of it the same way I used to use hustle: as another thing to get right. Another practice to optimize. Another way to fix myself quietly, alone, so nobody had to see the parts that weren't working yet.
I did everything right. The career, the hustle, the giving, the showing up. And underneath it was a low hum of something I couldn't name — not yet.
Here's what I actually think now, after all the training and all the tools: none of it matters much without people. You can have the perfect breathing practice and still be white-knuckling your way through a life nobody's actually witnessing. Regulation without connection is just a more sophisticated way to disappear.
So this isn't a place to get better at managing yourself alone. It's a place to be around other women doing the same unlearning — where the tools are here, but they're not the point. Being seen is the point. Seeing each other is the point.
Glad you're here.
