A script is one of the most powerful tools you can have as a server.
Here’s exactly why scripts matter if you want to make significantly more money, create regulars, and treat your shift like a business:
1. Removes Guesswork & Decision Fatigue
Busy shifts are chaotic. You’re juggling 6–10 tables, remembering orders, timing fires, and reading people. Without a script, every interaction becomes improvised. That leads to inconsistent results.
A good script gives you a proven framework so you’re not thinking “What do I say next?” — you already know the highest-probability path to a bigger check.
Scripts are not robotic or fake.
They’re like a jazz musician learning scales — once you master the fundamentals, you can improvise with way more skill and creativity.
