Head to the Sermon on the Mount course and open Week 11 — The Problem Was Never Your Behavior.
This week Jesus introduces the New Covenant — and He immediately goes somewhere most men have been avoiding.
Murder is downstream from cultivated anger. Adultery is downstream from a cultivated heart of lust.
Every sin pattern you have been managing at the output level has a source running upstream. You have never solved a problem by managing output while the source stays untouched.
The New Covenant is not better behavior management. It is heart transformation — from the inside out, by the Spirit.
Read it. Let it be uncomfortable.
