What Does a “Casting Director” Really Do?
A casting director helps identify performers who may be right for roles in a production and manages important parts of the casting process.
For artists, this means the casting director is often one of the professionals they meet during auditions and callbacks.
The goal is not to impress with someone you think they want to see. The goal is to be prepared, professional, and authentic to the role.
