Voice Over Q3

Hello community, it's me with another VO question. Sometimes we get auditions for VO's where they want you to match a voice that sounds animated and modified like the Chipmunks( which is very hard / impossible to match). If we have the tools to make our voices match the character, should we use our tools, Or only and always submit raw, unedited VO's.
