What is a CALLBACK?
Hello Starmaker Community!
I'm sure you've heard the word "callback" and wondered what it really means for your talented child?
A callback is so much more than another audition—it's a sign that your child has stood out and caught the casting team's attention. It's one of the most exciting milestones in the audition process and an opportunity that should never be taken lightly.
Every callback is a chance to move one step closer to the Agent's door. That's why it's so important to understand what it means and how to help your child be fully prepared.
At AGI, callbacks are typically done through a self-tape. After a Showcase or any VIP performance opportunity we set up for you, Ms. Natarsha Garcia will notify you if you've received a callback. From there, you'll be asked to submit a self-tape using either the material provided by the industry professional or AGI's material. That self-tape is what they'll use to determine whether they want to sign you.
Remember:
⭐ 1. Training is everything. It prepares you for the opportunity.
⭐ 2. Give your all during the performance. First impressions matter.
⭐ 3. Your self-tape callback gets you in the door. This is your chance to show them what you can really do.
⭐ 4. Signed or not signed—every callback is a step forward and valuable industry experience.
