HW & Reflections from Week1 IIS
So yes, better late than never. I thoroughly enjoyed Week 1 videos. And yes I took a ton of notes! Growing up, I wasn't taught financial literacy but then started to pick up knowledge little bit by little bit over the past 10 years. Thankfully, in the past 3 years I've invested in improving my knowledge because for one, I'll have a HS senior in 3 years! As for the acronym, letters C,I,B and even L at times hit home as areas that I must take ownership to turn around. I can't wait to connect with many of you all at SSHC Live!

IIS Module 4 - How I automated & systemized my podcast interview process

Trello Board Body-Doubling Session!
Body-doubling (def.) - a productivity strategy in which another person works alongside you as you complete a task you might otherwise find challenging. A bunch of us on the last brainstorm call agreed we want to hop on a Zoom call to work on our Trello boards at the same time and help troubleshoot with one another in real time! My honest story and how I got here... (Module 1 Worksheet - Money)
Hi, my name is Chakman. I'm 23 years old and less than a month from graduating. I am also the founder of Upgrowth where we help cashPTs grow & automate so they have more time to do what they love. I am born and raised in Hong Kong. And without her, I won't be able to have the opportunity to fly 10000 miles across the world and go to college here in the US. Let alone starting my own business and meeting & networking with you all! She just retired few months earlier and she's getting older now. I know being a PT can't provide the lifestyle I want to create the money, TIME, and LOCATION freedom in my 20s so that I can spend quality time with my mom and repay everything she did for me. Another reason I'm doing this is because I have a lot of friends are in DPT school right now. And they are just like you. Or what you used to believe. That life will be amazing after DPT school... Stable job. Decent income. But it didn't turn out the way it's supposed to be. That's why I want to help people like you. To get what you deserve in life. And educate the future generation to escape the matrix as soon as possible. And take their fate in their own hands. My dad used to teach me about money. The more I save. The safer I am. He would be proud of the fact that he saved a dime here or there. And instill that mindset to me when I was a kid. When I was 17 I stumbled upon the book Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki. And it changed how I view money completely. But I didn't know what to do at that time because I was still surrounding in that scarcity environment. Fast forward to today, I am in a much better position now in terms of how I view money and value. But it just getting started and I am willing to learn from everyone here! To grow and scale together!
