Knowing Him
I have heard it said, in years past, that as you grow older life gets easier. They lied! 😀
It may get easier in some aspects but always more challenging in others, as there are many variables that affect how we experience it.
With each season of life, there is trouble associated with it.
I have found that trouble pushes me towards God. I am reminded each day how much more I need Him than I did yesterday.
My relationship with Him has been my constant in this life. I have never known a season when I did not need wisdom and discernment, or the direction I needed to go. More than anything I have needed his presence and power working in my life.
I am in constant need of His strength to be the person He wants me to be.
You need Him too. We all do. Matthew 6:33 encourages us to seek first the kingdom and His righteousness.
If I could encourage you in one thing it would be to seek Him…not just what he can do for you, but really seek his heart.
Knowing the Lord personally…there is no greater goal in this life than to know and be known by him.
