Our routine the other day
Here’s was yesterday’s spirit led homeschool routine. I don’t like sharing this because I don’t want you to think it’s what your day should look like. Our days always look different but we do have somewhat of a routine we follow.
Woke up and cuddled…did an encounter mediation with God. Here’s what God showed my daughter. She saw a door and God was on the other side. He took her hand and led her to the ocean. It was nighttime and they started dancing together. He told her that he loved her more than all the sands of the seashore and more than all the stars in the sky and that she was more than all those things put together. ❤️
We watched some funny Instagram reels because the kingdom of heaven includes joy and joy is medicine for your soul.
Then she wanted to bake and cook new recipes so we did that in the kitchen together and listened to music that brings us joy. Such a great connection time together. We cleaned up the kitchen together as well.
Then we put on favorite playlists from her 4 favorite shows and she danced and guessed what songs they were. Enjoyment and connection time with us again.
Had deep conversations that the connection time led us to. Those deep conversations are so important.
We did our chores around the house. Then she did math, language arts, and had some reading time.
She jumped on the trampoline for quite a while practicing gymnastics and then went to her Jiu Jitsu class.
That was a fun connection day for us.
What are some of your favorite days and routines?
