Halgaz (hail) in divination warns of a storm coming. It could refer to stormy weather or a storm in a relationship. Neither are always negative and both are necessary for change. Relationships need the occasional storm to clear the air or the cobwebs or just to heat the blood and reinvigorate passion. The aftermath of a storm can be a blessing revealing something hidden, it can be a renewal (think make up sex) bringing new life. It can be a mess (like the ice in my driveway). No matter what a storm always stirs up opportunity. It may be the opportunity to exercise (shoveling) help someone out (shoveling) or heal something (snuggling and ignoring the shoveling). So halgaz may be warning of a storm coming but take heart storms pass and there is a gift in every one of them if you are willing to look for it.
