Iām April, a professional songwriter and songwriting educator. I hold a B.M. in Professional Music and an M.M. in Songwriting from Berklee College of Music. My original song, "Boston in the Rain" was a finalist in the 2022 Songdoor International Songwriting Contest and my first book, "From Spark to Song: A Lyric Writing Guide to Ignite Your Creativity" comes out this summer!
