🙋🏻‍♂️ I'll Start First
For those who don’t know me, I’m Oliver. I’m 23 years old, originally born in Australia but now living wherever I want (kind of). I’m a filmmaker, editor, and content creator who started with nothing but curiosity and my dads old Canon 450D.
Started back when I was 14 years. I old and stubbled upon my dads camera, the canon 450D and found myself quite fascinated, not sure about what exactly. Months passed after snapping just a few photos, and holy shit—I found myself creating more and more, with my passion for it only growing stronger.
Back in the day, when Casey Neistat was the GOAT, I started vlogging on a random point and shoot here and there, which eventually sparked my love for filming. But guess what? My 450D could only shoot photos. I tried everything to make it record video. The only solution? Plugging it into my ancient laptop and using a third-party app to capture footage. Yeah, that was a total bummer.
Two years went by. Finally, I saved up enough to get my very first official camera, the Canon 800D.
GUESS WHAT!? Some family shit happened and I had to completely STOP my creative journey. That took a huge toll on me and was kind of depressing.
After dealing with the family issues I decided it was time to leave (run away) and continue the creative journey I started. 5 years since took this seriously!
So i'm a home run away, not a school dropout. Funny too because I don't have any qualifications that state I went to school.
Anyways, I never had someone to guide me or show me the way. No mentor, no roadmap—just a lot of trial, error, and figuring it out on my own.That’s exactly why I built this space. To be the kind of resource I wish I had when I started.
From landing paid projects to building a personal brand, I’ve made every mistake, tested every tool, and discovered what really works. With the support of everyone around me, I believe it’s only right to give back and pass that knowledge on.
