A Good Set of Trading Rules
1. If I'm not calm, I don't trade. 2. No "I'll win it back" trades - - EVER! 3. One good setup is greater than ten impulsive trades. 4. If I feel FOMO, I step away. 5. Small loss = business. Big loss = my mistake. 6. I don't trade to feel something. 7. My job is discipline, not prediction. 8. A missed trade is better than a forced one. 9. If I break one rule, I stop for the day. 10. The chart doesn't care about me, so I don't take anything personally.

You're TERRIBLE at trading... because you think you're terrible at trading. Wild concept, I know. But hear me out... You ever notice how restaurant servers operate? The good ones? They're NOT checking on you because they're secretly angels sent from Heaven. They do it because they're PROFESSIONALS. And professionals understand something most amateur traders don't. Your results are a direct reflection of how you view YOURSELF. Think about it... A pro server doesn't need to be "motivated" to refill your drink. They don't need some guru screaming at them about the importance of hot food. They just DO it. Because that's who they ARE. Now compare that to the server who disappears for 30 minutes... Brings you a cold steak... Acts like refilling your water is some Herculean task... You're not tipping that person. The market ain't tipping them either. And here's the thing most traders miss: The market is your customer. It WILL reward you when you show up like a pro. It will PUNISH you when you only go half way. No exceptions. So if you're constantly missing setups... If you're revenge trading after a loss... If you're entering positions without a plan... You're the bad waiter wondering why nobody's leaving tips. The fix? Stop PRETENDING to be a professional trader. START being one. Because you will ALWAYS perform in alignment with how you see yourself. Always. -Bob Beckett
