Welcome to Solo Parent Village, a community for intentional Solo Parents and Parents-to-be!
Solo parenthood, with its many avenues, joys and challenges, can be both empowering and isolating for a person exploring this path on their own. Ours is a vibrant, amazing community who come together for a shared language and experience, and to make connections that will be a source of encouragement, information, support, and grounding throughout this journey.
Our host, Rebecca Elowen, is a Midwife, Lactation Consultant & Craniosacral Therapist, who has been facilitating support groups and classes for Solo Parents since 2010. This community is open to the public as well as to members of Rebecca's groups and classes.
Solo Parent Village was created as an accessible, inclusive virtual hub for Solo Parents at all stages and from all places. All gender expressions (mom, dad, mapa, baba, etc.) and approaches (pregnancy, surrogacy, adoption, foster, etc.) are welcome, and we're so glad you're here!
