Measure what matters (it all matters)
You've probably heard that expression before. But what does it mean to you?
This goes back to a post I did previously about knowing yourself.
Nobody cares that you know all the words to your favorite songs.
Nobody cares that you can cite meaningless statistics for your favorite team.
Nobody cares that you know the exact times and channels for all your favorite TV shows.
Nobody cares that you just bought something you don't need with money you don't have to impress people who don't give a hoot about you.
Nope, none of it matters.
What does matter is how you measure up to your standards, and whether you are doing everything in your power to get better!
As a person who loves helping and watching people succeed, that's what matters!
How do you measure up to your standards? Not anyone else's...YOURS!
