What Keeps You From Showing UP Authentically?

I just had a great convo with

about community, and how difficult it can be for community owners and participants to show up as their true self. Including me.

When I think about it... it's the f'ing Internet. There's something about the space of the internet that creates a level of fear around showing our genuine selves AND IT SUCKS. (and we all know why... people can be so mean!)

So, how do we navigate this dilemma? How do we participate without losing ourselves, and still be able to connect and grow our businesses?

I say patience, and be willing to grow a thick skin AND BOUNDARIES. Also, recognize that showing up in community spaces is less about you, and more about the community that you're entering.

What tips do you have? What do you experience in your own community and the ones you participate in?
