Do you suffer from low engagement in your community? Why do you think that is?

When I go into communities that have healthy community engagement, here's what I see in common across them:

the owners invite others into the conversation. It's an us vs. "me" culture
group owners engage in the comments, not just posting
group owners aren't pushing for a sale, they naturally lead people to a solution first
there's a variety of posts -->> short, gifs, polls, long, silly and fun
they lead with the WHY instead of just talking at their people
they don't ghost their group
owners highlight their members
owners reward their biggest fans
owners bring in other experts to share the space with them; decentering themselves, and putting more of a spotlight on others

I don't know what to post that would actually start a conversation

I post but nobody responds, and it feels like shouting into the void

I post inconsistently and people lose interest between posts

Honestly, I ghost my own group sometimes
