How Skool Check Scores Work
Each Skool Check review scores your About page across five join-decision signals.
These scores reflect how a real first-time visitor experiences your page — not what you intend it to say.
Think of them as friction detectors, not grades.
Join Clarity
How quickly a new visitor understands:
– Who the group is for
– What it’s about
– Whether clicking Join Group makes sense
Low clarity = hesitation before the click.
Audience Match
How clearly the page signals:
“This is for people like me”
“I belong here”
Lower scores usually mean the page is too broad or generic.
Desire Signal
How strongly the page makes joining feel worth it right now.
Looks for:
– Specific outcomes
– Concrete examples
– “I want this” moments
A 6–7/10 usually means the page sounds good — but doesn’t create urgency.
Trust & Tone
How safe and credible the group feels.
Includes:
– Confidence (without hype)
– Consistency
– Emotional tone
Lower scores usually signal uncertainty, not dishonesty.
Visual Support
How well the visuals reinforce the promise.
Includes:
– Banners
– Screenshots
– Proof of activity or assets
Low visual support means the page relies too heavily on text alone.
How to interpret scores
9–10 → Very low join friction
7–8 → Solid, but improvable
6 or below → This signal may be blocking joins
No About page is perfect.
One weak signal can stop the click.
Every review also identifies:
– The biggest hesitation stopping people from joining
– The single highest-impact fix
– A final verdict: Converts / Leaky / Doesn’t Convert
