It is one of the small, humbling mysteries of writing. You type a post. You read it over carefully. You double-check it once, perhaps twice. Everything looks fine. The sentences make sense. The words appear to be in the right order. Confident enough, you press โpost.โ
Then it happens. Someone replies to your message. Perhaps they comment on the idea you shared, perhaps they simply say โgreat post.โ Naturally you glance back at what you wrote, and suddenly the typo leaps off the screen as though it has been there all along waving its arms.
A missing letter. A swapped word. Something embarrassingly obvious. And the first thought that crosses your mind is: How did I not see that?
