Last week, I had the privilege of supporting my Executive Director and the Leadership Team through their 2026 strategy workshop. While the focus was on planning and performance, something unexpected happened for me — it became deeply personal.
We carved out time to truly reflect:
- What brought joy and success this year?
- Where did fear or doubt hold me back?
- What gave me energy… and what left me feeling depleted?
It struck me that strategic thinking isn't just for boardrooms and businesses. It's for our own lives, too.
It's not only about what we want to achieve next year — it's about how we want to feel while we're living it.
And honestly? This kind of intentional pause shouldn't happen just once a year.
Life will always be full. The to-do list and calendar will never be empty. It's so easy to say "yes" out of obligation, guilt, or habit — rather than genuine desire.
So here's a gentle invitation for you this week:
Give yourself 10 quiet minutes. No phone. No distractions. Just you.
Think about next year — not from a place of pressure, but possibility.
Not just the milestones you want to hit — but the feeling you want to carry with you.
How do you want to feel in your body? In your work? In your relationships? On a random Tuesday afternoon?
And if you're ready to explore this more deeply — I'm here.
One of my favourite ways to start the year is with a vision board session. It’s not just about cutting out pretty pictures — it's about getting clear on what truly lights you up, what you're ready to welcome in, and the energy you want to embody as you move through 2026.
Because how next year feels… it starts right now.
