I’ve been watching The Chosen in small pieces, not bingeing, so I can stay fully present, with my favorite snacks and Ms. Riley on my lap. 😆 She naps right on me, and I swear she’s a little creation of God too.
I’m most vulnerable to listen during exhaustion, the kind that stretches over days or weeks. Every episode moves me emotionally. That’s why I challenge you: don’t rush through biblical shows or movies. Skimming past them is like telling Jesus, “Hurry up, I have things to do.” Patience actually matters.
Sometimes I repeat episodes before moving on. Sometimes I spot the Lavender Prayer being acted out and I blush because it feels like an answered prayer. If you’re not hearing answers, maybe it’s because you’re not really listening… or maybe it’s just a “no.”
Next time you pray, ask yourself:
What am I praying for?
Why am I praying for it?
Where is this going to lead me?
Will this make my life better or harder?
You might feel like that no might have been a soul saver.
I’ve realized I often pray for things I could do myself. What I really need is strength to keep going, not quitting. Doubt can be a devil in our lives, it chains us down if we let it. Question everything: why, what, when, where, how. That’s self-reflection. That’s talking with God.
Jesus shows us the way. He’s the ultimate guide in the game of life, follow Him and learn from Him.
Humor helps too. 😆

💪 Side Mission Idea:
For one day, when someone annoys or agitates you: say nothing back. Just respond with “OK” and “Have a good day.” Later, reflect:
What might they have been feeling?
What could have happened in their life to make them act this way?
Why are others sparking joy today?
Think like a child again—curious, wondering, observing. That mind is extraordinary.
Journaling is a plus! It allows you to keep coming back to reflect. You might just think differently when you come back to it.
Go with God, everyone! 🍇
